Office 365 for Android on Asus Flip C302 Chromebook - No Formatting Available

I can type and auto-save to my OneDrive indicating that my Office 365 subscription is totally working and connected. I can't highlight text and change fonts or font sizes or change paragraph spacing in any of the Office Apps

All of these functions work fine on a Windows PC - just not through the Android App.
