I have been running the original froyo leak since day one, now that i've installed the official release my battery life has taken a major hit. If i go to bed with 60% and don't plug in it dies and i loss about 50% with less than four hours with very moderate use. Is it just me? I hate to add to the growing negative post about 2.2 but it really needed to sit on the shelf for a little while longer, that's just one of a few other nuisances...

My battery life is not near as good with official leak as I was getting with 2.2 leak. I'm wishing I left the leak on. There does not seem to be a benefit with this build.

Everyone I know on verizon said when their droid1 and Incredible got 2.2 it sucked the life of their battery. Seems to be a trend.

Mine is better than or equal to version 2.1

My battery life was great with stock 2.1, now with official 2.2 it seems even better. 12h 37m since unplugged and i'm still at 70%. I can live with that! Wayyyy better than the incredible I had.;)

My battery life is noticeably worse after the 2.2 update than it was running 2.1 and I am very disappointed. So far, I'm not seeing any positives from the 2.2 update.

Battery life does seem worse unfortunately compared to 2.1. Mabye it's because we've been staring at our phones more. I've know I have all day; running benchmarks, going through settings and tinkering. Time will tell...

I'm happy with battery life on 2.2 so far. Pulled it off the charger about 9 AM, and I still have 37%, 17 hours later, and I've using it fairly heavily today. That's with an extended battery.

Overall, I'm really happy with 2.2

I'm enjoying all of the enhancements, and my only beef is the Contact sort issue. That is really a Motorola problem that could be fixed with an incremental update, I believe.

I updated to 2.2 and disabled background data...and have seen a huge difference. have'nt charged since yesterday morning and still have 40%

Mine was the same or better after one day. Hard to take into account those day to day differences in usage. I'll keep watching it.

Not sure if mine is better or worse as my X's battery life has always been pretty good. Currently at 60% with approximately 15 hours of usage which includes listening to 2 cds, messing with flash on the browser with some additional light browsing, and a phone call or 2.
