I bought a Supcase brand cover the day I ordered my N10 on Launch day back in November. It protects the back, corners & front, has wake/sleep function, has 4 positions to angle my screen & closes securely with a catch. And it was about $10. I just don't see why this "official cover" costs so much & all it does is provide screen protection. This seems like a joke to me.

I have dropped my N10 a few times as it goes everywhere I go, and without this case I have, it would surely have been damaged bad or even destroyed. A corner drop onto my driveway from shoulder height did absolutely nothing while in the Supcase.

I went ahead and ordered it. Does anyone know FOR SURE if it can/cannot be used as a stand for the N10?

Doesn't support stand. I'll stick with my Moko Ultra Slim. Still waiting on an official dock though.

Ordered one too. might be a waste of $$ since its so pricey but its the first n10 official accessory so it created a complete impulse buy on my part.

I'll reserve judgment until I try it. If the cover is rigid, I don't see why it can't be used as a stand. It can fold all the way back behind the device, so if it is rigid it should work as a stand. The fact that Google doesn't show us that utility is indeed telling, but it wouldn't be the first time Google downplayed (or didn't advertise) what their users might consider an important feature.

i got really excited to see this until i realized it only covers the screen and costs more than twice what i payed for my current case that covers both sides and has saved my N10 a few times now. Disappointed, but if it ever goes on sale i would consider picking it up. Hopefully someone will put up a review with pics or video of it.

I bought it. I'll make a video review of it also. I can see how it could be used as a stand. I've yet to buy a case for my n10 and keep it in a sleeve type case with my Mifi.

I got the supcase also! It's great. I am a bit of a nut though, made two small customizations to the case, will try and post details later...

I wish they would fill out their other accessories as well. Its been indicated that the charge speed of the device met a bottleneck at the software to accommodate the slow USB charger. Releasing a Google pogo charger may result in an update that increases the charging speed.

Looks to me that it operates as a stand just fine. I figured as much.

nice one =) is it durable? i had my leather casing fall off or bump on the edge of tables and my nexus 10 is still okay

It can stand at a single angle [the foldable covers ive you two] on a fabric surface. I am interested to see how it handles the slick surface of my Office's Lunchroom tables. I am also interested to see how it handles standing in portrait mode.
