Official Google case review and warning

This is not good to hear. I was going to purchase this case since I want to be able to see the Blue of my phone and want something minimal. Any suggestions for something else that's clear and thin?

rhinoshield crash guard, have it on my s7, and pretty minimal and protective. Heard about a "sharp" edge on the pixel, someone else can put more info if real thing

I sent mine back. On top of all this, mine allows the phone to move slightly around inside the case! Totally unacceptable!

I bought a Trianium clear case from Amazon for my XL. I bought it because it appeared to add minimal bulk and to not hide the phone and yet give some protection. When it arrived I was expecting it to be OK but not much more, especially for only $7.95. But, when it arrived I was surprised to find a nice, good looking clear case that fit the phone perfectly, provided a lip for when I put the phone face down and (in my opinion) showed off the phone much better than I thought it would and added some extra grip when holding the phone.

I have no association with the case manufacturer but I was happy to make this find for a case that added to rather than detracted from the look of the phone.

I won't have my Pixel XL until next month do to the back order, but I already have ordered a Seidio case for it. Have used their cases on a few of my past devices, a little pricey but work well. I have put liquid armor on the screens of my past few phones. I can literally take a key and try to scratch the screen and nothing happens. I will probably put it on the pixel too and also the back glass so they don't get scratched up. Won't prevent breakage but should keep the front and back scratch free.

I also bought the clear case at the time of my phone purchase, mostly because people said the phone glass scratched easily. Yeah, it's over priced, but I bought it to keep my phone nice, and 3 months in, it has done that for me. Though if I found a nicer protective case I would possibly buy it.
