I read this and started to freak out. I thought someone had already gotten it... Lol!

I'd be a little sceptical about what a Sprint Chat specialist knows. In the past I've had ones that are really on top of things and know of what they speak and others that couldn't even determine my upgrade eligibility. Sadly those who know of what they speak are few and far between.

As for the update, it has been reported in some other threads that the source code has been posted which is generally a positive. The only thing that drives me nuts is if it is released today there is no way for me to force my phone to download it.

Dont they have a window of 7/12-7/20? The pessimist in me thinks that it probably wont get here until 11:59pm 7/19. The optimist in me thinks that it is in on its way out right now!

I hate being bipolar. It's awesome.

Man I was so hype when I opened this thread!

Received the update. Having some issues. Getting an "Open of EnglishUS Failed" error when I want to type. had to switch over to samsung keyboard for input.

In the DC Area.

noticing some differences as well. power mode starts at 50% instead of 70%, swype doesn't work because of this error. will keep posting things i see.

Are you using the stock keyboard? If not, your keyboard app may need to be manually updated.

Cincinnati for me. Was waiting to be installed when i grabbed my phone off the charger at 7:30 this morning.
Trying to see whats better or worse. Swype not working sucks, and battery is already down to 50%.

That is quite strange. Lets hope they push out a second update to fix the problems in the coming weeks. And I wonder if you get the same response if you are using a different keyboard such as swift key?

Ahh not too far from me. I'll be checking mine frequently. How did the update arrive? Kies? Notification? Or did you just go to settings, about phone, update android?

Out of curiosity, should I remove all Go Launcher themes, settings, etc,. before updating? I think that may cause a conflict with the visual upgrade but I have no idea. Thoughts?

I was having Swype issues in the leaked builds too. I can't remember exactly but I think i fixed it by clearing the data and cache for swype in the applications menu. This will probably delete your word library so you may want to back that up.
