Official no S Pen support...

Real bummer, no spen support for the Z Fold 7
And same battery
I guess will use fold 6 for one more year
Just like I kept the S24U
Instead of adding new functions
Samsung is removing them
I thought by now they would introduce Bluetooth Spen for Fold 7

They went with a thinner phone this time around and a wider outer screen. I'll be honest, having SPen was nice, but I rarely use it, but handy when needed. So, I have to see how bad it is without SPEN.

That's why I didn't consider the S25 Ultra, and it's why I have no interest in the Z Fold 7. I wanted to see a Fold with a better camera and an inbuilt S Pen silo. Not having the inbuilt S Pen silo makes this a nonstarter for me.

S Pen silo? With the device being thin... I don't think thats ever going to happen. Our only hope is they find away to bring back the digitizer (along with an S-Pen case) and as much as I want join the Fold 7 users crowd because this is the biggest upgrade EVER.

There has to be some type of pushback against this decision to remove the S-Pen.

That's how company's make decisions, vote with your checkbook, for the younger generation that means your credit card.

People have been whining about the UDC on inside screen because of picture quality, Samsung finally removed it. There really. I need for a camera in the first place on inside screen, and there's definitely no reason it needs to be high quality. Zoom meetings and such do not require high resolution, and taking a selfie with the fold open would be awkward at best. high quality video for zoom meetings is a person thinking they need it.

I don't get why the need a selfie cam on the inside screen anyway. If you want to take a selfie, close the screen and take a selfie like a normal slab phone, its easier to hold that way anyway

I would rather have more battery than an upgraded inside selfie cam. But it probably just effected the price more than the battery.

I don't mind the UDC removal and I'm neither for or against having a camera on the inside screen, but you are right.. it needs to have a camera for video call meetings.

But I think it was lazy on Samsung part not to place the hole punch in the far right corner similar to how the competitors have done it. It seems as if Samsung realized they made a mistake with the Fold 6 since they seen competitors come out with thinner design and wider outer displays.

So, Samsung pivoted... after 2 to 3 months with the release of the Fold 6 they brought out the Fold SE to create some buzz and show they still got it. But what bothers me is that they had months to make substantial improvements to the Fold SE... yet only refinement we got was a thinner chassis (and maybe a change to the hinge).
