I'm still waiting for Samsung to release the official One UI update for the S9 in the UK.

I had been using the beta version of One UI since registrations opened at the end of November 2018, and to be honest I really enjoyed it.

I am fully aware that they expect to roll out the official version in January 2019, but I need to know exactly when, and especially in the UK.

Can anyone answer this and one or two other questions regarding this?

Those other questions being;

  1. Is it possible to upgrade from the beta version to the official version? If so, how will Samsung tell you if you're upgrading from beta to official?
  2. If the above question does not apply, would I need to downgrade back to Android Oreo via Smart Switch before trying to manually update my S9 to Pie (One UI) once the official update starts rolling out?

Thanks in advance.

Why do you know the exact date? Lol. It's coming today or tomorrow. India and South Korea got it earlier and US usually gets it at around 6pm Central time. I'm in the beta since the beginning and I'm just getting the stable version at about 150mb.
