Official Samsung S View Case vs. Others

Does anyone know at this point whether an S View case from say, Seidio, has the same functionality as the official case from Samsung? Not too many cases out there, and not sure if anyone has much experience yet. But, if you know, please let us all know. Thank you in advance.

Can't help you there sorry, but I've had a couple of cheapo no-name covers from eBay - but both of them didn't work with the S View features. Oddly enough the cheap cases I got for my S4 worked perfectly so I thought these would too. Never mind

I have the official S view case bought thru ATT. To get s view features to work cases will have to have the two metal contacts on inside of back plate. I don't know all functionality but I've read people who bought what they thought was official cover and couldn't get s view features to work, didn't have the contacts on inside of cover. So, covers may have wake on open feature but if they don't have those contacts it's a no go for s view. There may be a work around but I am not aware of it.
