og droid mono bluetooth

I have a rooted droid running cyanogen 6.1.2. I have an LG HBM-235, a mono BT ear piece. I have tried 3 different apps from the market that supposedly re-route music to the mono bt ear set. None of them seem to work on my OG Droid. Has anyone else attempted this with a motorola Droid, earset, or cyanogen. I don't care about music, its the podcasts that matter to me. Thanks to all with any insight.

The only one I've ever played with was http://market.android.com/details?id=com.steven.supermonofroyofree and that was on an LG (Ally I believe). It worked for that phone, never tried it on my Droid.

I have the same problem. I've tried bt mono, super mono froyo, bt switcher, and bt audio widget. I have an eris that it wworks on, I'm thinking I should switch back. Plus the droid keyboard sucks! I think an a2dp headset is the only option. Oh and I'm on cm7

I do believe it is time for a new headset. The apps you are finding although will install on android they havent been tested for all the phones but created to run on certain phones that they tested while in the stages of construction. The jawbone icon is a great headset that allows both.

If you want A2DP then make sure you shop for it when looking at BT headsets.
