flex screen won't mean the phone is flexible. It will just mean you're less likely to crack it. The innards of the phone won't flex. Maybe that will help in your decision......

Are you planning to pay full price? I don't think anything on the flex screen Note 3 was even made official. I read that they will be made in limited supply as well. To me, that equates to more money. If you have > $800 - 900 to spend on a phone, wait it out. To me, I don't see how the screen can flex that much on a device that is only 8.4 mm thick. Was it announced already? Maybe I missed something. This may be another carrier exclusive deal in the US.

There is absolutely no guarantee that version the GN3 will even make it to the US, and if you did import it I can say without much doubt it won't work on AT&T's LTE network leaving you with just their HSDPA network. This phone is really targeted to get a device out ahead of LG to be "first" to market. It will be a S.Korea launch.

Let me put it this way.

There's no guarantee that its a real product and not just a rumor.

And even if its a real product, there's no guarantee that its coming to the states.

And even if its coming to the states, there's no guarantee that its coming to AT&T.

And even if its coming to AT&T, there's no guarantee that its coming as soon as its announced and not several months later.

And even then, there's no guarantee that its not going to cost an arm and a leg.

So you can wait if you want to, but it might be a long wait with no good result in the end.

I'm going to wait at least a month or so for the price to fall. They always do. Heck, the S4 went from here in Canada $230 down to $50 in just a few months.

It does not mean that it is coming to the United States.

I'd love to see the Note made of pure gold and with a flex screen come to the US ASAP causing the price of the "regular, old fashioned Note 3" drop down to $49.99.

You can but I have not seen the GN2 drop substantially in price and the GS4 is more mainstream product so they want it in more hands quickly. The Note series is more higher end and a different set of users. It could drop in price but don't expect it to drop that much that soon if at all.

....... "No Guarantee".....

Then again, black friday and Christmas are just around the corner.

I read it wouldn't release till March..... And in April using the edge program i could upgrade again if it did come to all major carriers in the US

Very true, and anything is possible. But this is the flagship device, if there is a promo I would highly suggest not delaying and jumping on it since it won't last long.

Get it now. If you wait for something new you gonna wait forever

Agreed with the rumor mill post, also if it's similar to the S4 Active, I would pass for the lesser specs in place of a more rugged or flexible phone.

Forget the flexible screen, my biggest dilemma is if they decide to go ahead with this "F" series of devices that was rumoured last week. A "premium" quality Note with metal body would be sweet.

However, I've a feeling that's a long way off. I would imagine if it was going to happen we would see a Samsung Galaxy F (equivalent to a Galaxy S but in metal) before we saw a Galaxy Note F.
