What made you become part of the Android Central community in the first place?

To me, the reason why I joined is to meet all different kinds of Android geeks and to see how different each person's experience with a phone is compared to mine.

It's also a great place for me to learn more about Android in general, but really, the biggest reason is that I really love the community here!

Yeah, I did do some things that were pretty silly, like saying Samsung screwed over S4 customers with the SD800-powered GS4 LTE-A when I knew nothing about LTE-A at the time (Blargh. I wish I could forget that), but aside from that, I'm pretty happy with my stay so far and I'm eager to see what holds up next. :D

I came here a couple of years ago as I had a question, think it was about Google Photos or something like that. It then started from there tbh. It was mostly the article side of AC that got me addicted, still to this day I check AC on my phone / works pc every 15 - 30 mins for new stories. After a couple of months I joined the forums and the rest is history :)

I really enjoy coming here and being able to help people out. I don't usually take part in long discussions, I just check to see if there are questions that I can help with.

I also keep myself updated with articles on AC. I feel that they write some pretty neat stuff.

And yeah, I also like to help others to the best of my ability.

I was a fan of the Article section for a long time, I think since 2009, read a lot of the articles and reviews from here and then in 2013 I finally registered just before upgrading from my Galaxy S3 to S4.

The reviews and the comments the community has made pretty much made me jump on board.

I had a One M7 at the time I joined, so getting the perspective from many different Android users who use different handsets is refreshing, especially ones who are experienced. And granted, there are a ton who have way more experience than me and I want to learn from them.

Well.... I switched to Android a few years ago and stumbled across these forums when looking up things about my phone. After that the rest is history. I found an awesome community that loves to talk / be geeky, share experiences, & also help people with issues.

Now I have joined the team and they have put me to work. They can be brutal .. but I will stay strong! :p.

Simply here to learn as much as I can about the fascinating world of Android. And I must say that I'm learning something new everyday. 😎

Well, I recall lurking for a while, looking at Android news. Something prompted me to look at the forums, and I answered a question about the S2. I was on and off the forums for a while, and then I found the Ambassador Intro section, read through them, and thought 'Hey, I think I want to do that.' So, I decided to get my post count up a little, and then go from there. I was 2 weeks into solid posting when I was asked to join the Ambassadors.

The reason I joined this forum as opposed to others was the more welcoming feel behind it.

They can be brutal
Over-exaggerating a little? :p

Was lurking for a while on the forums, and decided to join due to see that the community was helpful to each other and loved to discuss everything Smartphone/Tech related.

So far it's the best Android forum I've been, and I try to help as much as possible to make it better :)

What is this site about? Android help, how-tos and new and noteworthy. (Sorry, I should have replied with a quote)
