oh my goodness. two phones, anyone got any ideas for how to best use them?

30 dollars for THAT? That's crazy. I'd say just tether it to your phone or use wifi whenever possible. You could definitely use it for gaming. You could always set it up to use VOIP over wifi. If I were you though, I'd sell it. Just sayin'. lol
I have the perfect plan for your two phone dilemma. What you can do is sell the Optimus to me for $30. I'll tell you the rest of the plan once the sale is complete, but it mostly has to do with Karma and balance in the world

whyaphoenix, it sounds to me like that galaxy s would make for a great portable media server... load it up with movies and connect it up to a TV wherever you and and viola, instant media server ^_^

There are also webcam/ipcam (DroidCam, IPCam, etc) type apps you might like to use it for. You can place it in a window, and let it act as a security camera. A normal wifi network ip cam can run upwards of $200, so this would be a steal!
