This happens with my Nexus 6 too. When I say "Ok Google, call [contact name] on speaker phone", I still have to manually push the speakerphone icon. The voice prompt says "calling xxx on speakerphone", but it doesn't activate the speakerphone.

Can someone else try this, or does anyone else have this issue?

Anyone? Just give it a try and see if the speaker phone turns on automatically.

You guys are killing me! Does anyone make calls on the phone anymore?

Someone, please. Use OK Google (Or Moto X, or whatever you use), say "Call [one of your contacts] on speaker phone". The dialer will come up and the make the call. Can you let me know if you still have to manually press the speakerphone icon. I have to, and it does the same on my Nexus 6.

I usually use the Moto Voice for this and it does put it on speaker. I will test the Google one later today and report back.

I don't have a style (yet) but I've never gotten that to work on Android. Windows worked every time

Yes, I used moto voice, not OK Google. ..

Just tried it via Moto Voice also, and it worked as it should, via the speaker.

Edit: Also tried it successfully via OK Google. "Call *blank* via speakerphone."
