Ok google lock screen not working Note 5 Sprint

I can't get ok Google to work from the lock screen. I've set it up correctly in the settings for Google now but nothing happens when I say ok Google on the lock screen. I've retrained my voice and everything. Is anyone else having this issue?

Ch3ck settings there needs to be an option to listen from any screen. I only have widget on main screen works only when unlocked but thats good enough for me. I dont want battery drain

I believe it now only works from the lockscreen when charging.

This is a known issue with the new Google updated. If you have the latest google update which is recognized by the bright rainbow of colors, then lockscreen recognition is broken. Hopefully google will get on this and fix it soon.

Are you using a secure lock?

Fingerprints thats it. Turned off smart lock.

Yeah only S-Voice will work with Smart Lock and fingerprint lock.

If I remember correctly and we tested this a couple of weeks ago, it will not work if your screen is secure locked at the time..hmm.. I'm trying to remember exactly. It might be that it won't worked from the black screen, but will from the lock screen if it is on.

I do remember that S-Voice works anywhere because I can yell at my phone across the room and get S-Voice to work.

What gets me is if I don't hear my phone ding after I say "Hi Galaxy" and I say it again and the phone says "Hello" lol
