"Ok Google"

When I first got my phone I used to say "Ok Google" and it would immediately make a noise, and Id proceed. Now approximately 7 months later when I say "Ok Google" it's either slow to respond or it doesn't respond at all, and I have to say it several more times until it does. Does anyone know why this is happening? And what I can do to fix it? Thank you in advance.

I had the same thing happen. I signed out of OK Google, and then signed back in and the problem was fixed.
