OK here's my question about ICS when it's official...

Since I'm now unlocked, rooted and using Scotts CleanROM 1.5.5, when ICS comes out it should be an OTA update. How will that affect my Rezound as far as what I have installed etc. ?

Will I have to re-install apps? Re-root? Will the update be disallowed because I'm no longer playing the game VZ wants?

You'll probably have to Relock/RUU to get the OTA. Same thing as what we did on the OG Droid, you would SBF then get the OTA, re-root and call it a day. Not that any of this is set in stone but we'll find out in a bit when HTC pushes the first OTA for the Rezound.

Or just wait for a custom ROM released based on it and flash right over to it..

Well, been checking under settings->Sofware Update for 2 days and it just keeps telling me "server unavailable, check again when server is available"

Curious. Anyone else have this issue? unlocked, rooted, cleanROM 1.5.5

Oh and I know this update is not ICS, just put it out here for the current update. Prolly should have put this in a different thread. Meh. My bad.

You ROM'd, so you're S.O.L.
Scott posted a stock ROM over on XDA a month or so ago, so that's your best bet in order to get an update. In my opinion, though, it's not worth it.

Nope Scott, got your ROM, I'll stick with CleanROM until you get one for ICS official (cause I know ya will, lol). Not having the issues that these fixes seem to be for.
