OK I'm over rom manger!

Most of you guys know me as a staunch rom manager supporter. I didn't like twrp for the simple fact that it is not compatible with rm. I like a nice front end like rm to automate flashes for me. With the recent stumbles that the latest cwm has been going through, I have become somewhat disillusioned with cwmr particularly.

Then reading up on twrp, I discover an app called goo manager. This frickin thing is almost exactly like rm with twrp acting as the recovery system working on the backend with goo.
I have been fussing with it and it works just as good as rm. It doesn't do backups and restores like rm but heck can do that manually.

So now I be using goo manager along with twrp to do all of my flashing. Of course everything can be done manually, I just like automation.

I've used goomanager to download ROMs and stuff, works great for that. I still boot into recovery and do all the wiping/backups/flashing manually. Cuz I'm a G!

LOL but this thread is more about goo manager as a replacement for rm. GM will probably get a bad rep by you hardcore manual type flashers.
Goo manager, rom manager....notice the similar naming?

Use goo? Or just do it manual?

Never liked ROM Manager myself - I've been doing things manually forever. Last time I used TWRP, it had problems with reading my sdcard partition. Maybe it's time to give it another shot.

Totally aware of the bad rep rm has and now that cwm is having issues more fuel to the fire on rm.

Just did the 7-19 jelly bro with twrp. Yup its good sht. In my boneheadedness, I just refused to use twrp. Now its all roses.

Its almost a clone of rom manager, without backup/restore. A front end for twrp.
