ok heres the deal my girlfriend and myself got palm pre's about the same time and now i got the evo cuz im a premier customer and she is a add on to my line so she is super jelous of the evo and wants one bad but she is not due for a upgrade for like another year and im not paying $500 for her a phone so i guess i just keep playing with my evo and teasing her lol

wouldn't he be locked into that third line for 2 yrs then? That's more expensive than paying outright for the phone.

the bf likes my phone, but i was sick of having the same phone prior (Palm Pre's) that I said he should wait. Plus he likes physical keyboards, so I guess he will get the Epic 4G whenever it arrives.

I like specific keyboards. I liked the Pre's, but I don't like landscape sliders for some reason.

Sprint's price is $450. A regular line gets $75 off every year. So... she can get it for $375.

The reason you only pay $200 is because you get $150 off for premier and that comes with the $100 rebate.
So yeah, she can get it for $375. That's not too much imo.

I much prefer the Treo form factor and I liked the idea of the Pre. However, there are enough selling points to the Epic that I wouldn't mind giving the landscape slider a chance...
