I want an elite so I'm getting one for sprint but does the virgin mobile stuff work on it??
Because that looks like where all the development is

How far does this puppy overclock

i know cwm works on the elite regardless of carrier, root does as well. the roms are another story. some have reported they do but i cant personally verify that.

May as well get a virgin mobile one for safety and a sprint one for service
Is it true it can over clock to 1.9 gHZ?

1.6 ghz is what drew is reporting from his findings. id say those are accurate measurements of clocking ability. and to be honest with you. the service between sprint and vm is not going to be all that different. except price and not having to be committed long term.

Is it armv6 or armv7

i think its arm7 but dont quote me on that. last i recall when i owned the phone i installed mxplayer and it used the armv7 codec for video rendering etc. so i base it on that.

It is an arm 7 and will overclock to 1.6ghz. I'm currently running Giantpunes kernel and running at 1.6 ghz.

Not sure about the games as I've never tried em

Indeed 1.6 is very stable from what I've noticed, which is absolutely insane considering its clocked at 200% of stock speed. Over the next couple days I will be pushing the boundaries and possibly taking it over 2GHz.

yeah I'm dumbfounded by it. if I took my one v to 200% of stock it would probably get hot and burn up.

Most of them auto-reboot at 864MHz anyhow.

But yes it's quite amazing.

EDIT: just realized you were referring to the One V, not the Optimus V haha
