Ok ... so now I am global. I'd rather have Jelly Bean!

And now that I won't be able to get a discount on a upgrade for an additional four months, I really want Jelly Bean.

By the time I get a phone Key Lime Pie will be out.

I wasn't due till November but sucked it up and paid full price for the note 2. Sold my rezound on ebay for $175. Jelly bean is nice and now I have it on my phone and tablet.

Gonna consider purchasing early with that payment plan thing? You wouldn't need to wait.

That's how I'm buying my next iPhone, BlackBerry, Win.phone, Ubuntu phone, okay ... maybe an Android phone.

I just don't want to spend all that money on a phone. I am sure Verizon's plan was to get anxious early upgraders to pony up $700 for their phones. I can never say never, but I don't think I will be going in that direction.

Is JB completely out of the question, or is there still a chance?

Verizon wants to motivate you to upgrade. So, I'm betting on Hell Flippin No.

If HTC + Verizon had a different track record, I would not be so pessimistic.

If it makes you feel better my Spectrum 2 just upgraded to JB.:D. My Rezound just sits as a backup.

You may be better off doing the etf method. For example, the note 2 was $50, pay etf and one days service on a new line of service, total is $405.

Pretty sure I'd be risking the loss of my unlimited data because technically I would be allowing Verizon to change my plan. Also, I've seen this recommendation in other threads -- I think this ETF manipulation will eventually blow up in our faces.

Phones are a write off for me, anyway.
