Just long-press on any empty space on any of your homescreens. You'll get Wallpapers, Widgets, and Home screen Settings below. I'm assuming you're using the stock launcher.

In other launchers, the process is the same, it's just the options that show up that change.

Thank you! !

It's also a tab in the App Drawer on my phone...

Is it a Note 4? The stock launcher's App Drawer, at least on T-Mobile's version, only shows apps in the App drawer, unlike the 'old' KitKat drawer that showed Widgets in a separate 'tab'.

on a side note (pun) is there an app that will work with the stock launcher and give us more widgets? and if so which one would you guys recommend

Optionally you can long press the menu button while no app is open to get to the widgets menu.
Good luck!

Yeah...but I realized after I sent that that it's one of the things I see differently because of Nova. Sorry!

There are a ton of 3rd party apps that include widgets. Weather apps, like Yahoo! Weather, have their own set of widgets. Flipboard has a widget. Evernote has a widget. But if you want more clock/weather/status widgets, one of the most popular choices is Beautiful Widgets, but IMHO the most powerful one is Zooper Widgets, but that's more of a development platform, so you have to either create your own widgets or download someone else's and load it into Zooper. The advantage here is that the design possibilities are seemingly endless. You can customize a lot of details of the widget and have funky looking ones or very abstract ones.
