Old Market?

OK so I got the Rhyme for my girlfriend and it came with the old market which I don't understand because it's a brand new phone and the new market has been out for a while now. Anyway it's been a few days and she still hasn't gotten an update pushed. I've talked to Verizon and HTC neither of them have an answer so, has anyone who has had the Rhyme for a while experienced this?

Market is an app like any other. So you should be able to open up Market and hit Menu and select My Apps and find it in the list. Select it and tell it to auto update. Let me try it on my phone and I'll get back to you.

Nope, but if you open Market and select Menu and settings, you can tell it to auto update. Try that.

I don't think the rhyme ships with the new market intentionally. The phone isn't a powerhouse, so I'm sure the new market will lag, and that will take away from the "quality perfomance" this phone is aiming for.

Already tried to go into the market settings and there is no option to force an update. Any other ideas? Does anyone actually have the new market on their Rhyme?
