Old S3 transfer data to new S7

My old Samsung S3 died (screen), just got a S7.
Is there a way to transfer the data on the phone from the 3 to the 7?
Contacts should be on the SIM, need to get a "nano" from T-Mobile this weekend.
But what about other data? T-Mobile says NO without a functioning screen?

What data are you talking about? Pictures, contacts, video, apps..etc? You can possibly pull data off, if its documents, pictures, video...

Yes all but contacts, plugging into computer to browse files does nothing,
Damage must be more that the screen
