Hello all!

My name is Tyler. I am most definitely not new to Android. I was one of the old schools back before the T-Mobile G1 was released. At that time, I owned a Sprint HTC Touch (Vogue) and did a lot of work over at XDA primarily in the area of modifying Android 1.0 and Petit Four (1.1). Soon after I dropped Android in hope of a developing future with Windows 6.5! After many ports and few programs later I decided on going back to the open-source Android community and helped port newer versions of Sense UI onto the HTC Vogue.

After my Vogue had been laid to rest (I am loyal to my phones and it's community for at least 2 years) I got a Samsung Moment. For the most part, I assisted in porting newer versions of Android (primarily 2.0 and 2.1). I attempted to port Sense but due to the lack of source for the Moment...I failed terribly. I then became admin of SDX-Developers for awhile before I had to retire the position to concentrate on school.

Now, I own a Samsung Nexus S 4G. I will have this phone for hopefully two years. At the moment I am currently a senior at my high school and have a little time here and there to work on stuff. I am currently building an Android application for my school. After I complete the application, I do have plans for the Samsung Nexus S 4G...but nothing major due to the strong support it already has. One of the things I am looking into right now is deeper NFC dependence. I believe NFC can be put to much better use and I plan on furthering it's capabilities in future ROM's. :)

You may know me by the way!
