Android Central Question

The folder 84eeca348361261b7e1885aaa75b0d7a has many sub-folders with weird names.
My phone is an Asus Zenphone Max. The folder shows up when I connect phone with my laptop.

Only when it's connected to the laptop? Then it's probably (but not guaranteed) not a virus, it's probably the way the phone sees the laptop (which is strange, but different manufacturers do things differently, and I've never searched around in an Asus connected to a computer).

If it's there all the time, and you can't find any files in any of the folders that have any readable data in them, I'd suspect it, but I'd still check every single file in every single folder first. Then, if there's nothing any app can read, I'd change the name of the top folder from 84eeca348361261b7e1885aaa75b0d7a to .84eeca348361261b7e1885aaa75b0d7a (add the dot at the beginning to make it, and all its sub-folders, hidden. If the phone still works, leave it that way for a week or so to make sure. If some app fails because it can't find something, remove the dot, and you'll know what app the folders are part of.
