Older Wireless Fast Charger - Does it still work?

I have an older Samsung Wireless Fast Charger. Will it work with the Note 8? If so, will it be the same as the new one or slower?

Depending on how old, it should work but you may not get fast charge. So no, it most likely won't be the same as the new one.

I just tested my Note 8 on my Samsung Fast Wireless charger from last year with the new Samsung Fast Convertible Wireless charger and the charging times are exact the same.

I have the last generation pad and stand (both fast charging). This is the only way I typically charge my phone, and it works great. I've read a lot of reviews of the new convertible charger that came out alone with the S8. Reviewers suggest that the charging speed is equivalent. It MAY be slightly faster, but we're talking a matter of a couple minutes saved on a charge from 50% to full.

Of course, perhaps the story is different for the Note 8. Anyone have more up to date info than me?
