OMADM Client Has Stopped Working?

I was traveling by car down the eastern US border all day yesterday (I travel this route once a month) and, naturally, my phone would occasionally lose signal. But a quick update profile/PRL would fix the problem. As of last night, though, when I try to update, I get an error message saying "Unfortunately, OMADMclient_Sprint_client has stopped." I've rebooted my phone, tried to reactivate my handset, and even reprovisioned via ##72786#, but still get the same error.

I called Sprint tech support, they refreshed my phone on their system and still, same. The tech guy finally comes back with, oh there's a network issue in your area and the OTA is 1/29 so that should resolve it. But that doesn't sound right?

Anyone have this issue or a solution?

I called Sprint (and the Sprint store) and was told the network has been down in my area for a couple of days. They seem to think once the towers are up and running again (later today...), my phone should be fine. BUT, they'd also never heard of my particular error message before.

I've just tried to clear cache partition - which is taking a long, long time (15 minutes) - and the end result is: my phone seems to run smoother, but I'm still getting the above error (OMADM Client has stopped working). Darn it!

Wanted to share that, in the end, I ended up factory resetting my phone - no other way around it. And now my phone works fine again, the above message gone. Hate that reset is the option we most have to turn to, but...yea. Phone fixed. :)
