On my Galaxy Note 4 (AT&T) how do I remove my Gmail?

galaxy note 4 at&t how do I remove my Gmail.

on setting up new Galaxy Note 4, it asked for to set up Google Account. I used an my google email. I can't stand all the junk mail and want to remove it from my cell phone. how do I do this. Do I still need a google account to do OK Google.

I think your best bet would be to go to settings/accounts select your Google account and DE select the email sync option. You will still need the Google account for play store

The easiest way is to remove that account from email. There's a Google account section and an email account section. The Google account is used for things like Play Store. It doesn't have to be the same as any of the email accounts in the phone.
