On my Galaxy S3, why am I not able to send a video as it does not show the videos only the pictures?

Galaxy S3 I am not able to send a video as it does not show the videos only the pictures

My girlfriends phone will do this and I do not see any difference in the set up, but hers has a place that allows for the camera roll to display and it shows videos, mine does not.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you trying to send the video via Messaging? You probably won't be able to, since the maximimum filesize you can send over MMS is about 1 MB. Almost any video you take will be way over that limit. It's better to upload the video to a cloud service like YouTube, Google+ Photos, or Dropbox, and share the link privately with the recipient.
