On my LG G2 D801, why am I getting the error message Unfortunately, Google Play Services have stopped working?

LG G2 D801: "Unfortunately, Google Play Services have stopped working"

After the new TMobile update on 12/14, I started receiving this infamous error. I already tried force closes into uninstall updates, and clear caches. The update also signed me out of my Google account, which I cannot log back into because of the error.

EDIT: I would also like to add it is unrooted.
