On my Samsung Galaxy Tab A, how to turn shuffle off and on when I create a playlist?

If I tap the shuffle icon, it just jumps to another track randomly on the playlist. When I go to "MORE" to edit/look at music settings, there's nothing about the shuffle function.
I need my playlists to play in the order they are created. I do know how to turn the shuffle function off on each individual track by tapping on the album cover etc, but the playlist as a whole has no album cover to do this with.
