On my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, how do I transfer photos from device to microSD card?

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1" transfer photos from device to microSD card

I am new to using a tablet but have a laptop PC. Need to transfer any photos from gallery of tablet to the microSD card within the device. No idea how to do this without first making a transfer to PC. Difficult if away in the wilderness!
Prefer not to upload to internet first.

You can do this with the stock File Manager in your tablet. Just tap and hold on the files you need to move and a COPY or MOVE action should be available. There you can just do that to your SD card.

Just remember, your tablet is running KitKat, which means that ONLY the stock File Manager has full access to the SD Card. If you download a 3rd party file manager like ES File Explorer, those will not be able to do certain things to the SD card, and moving files is one of them.
