Tab pro 8.4 random buzzing noise from speakers

Hi, whenever I run a game or unlock the device this static buzzing sound comes out from the speaker, this occurred on two different 8.4s from two different shops. Is there any fix or do I have to just keep playing the lottery with this tablet?

When I connect headphones the sound stops, but then I can't use my speakers at all. I really don't want to have to send this back too Samsung

Re: Tab pro 8.4 random buzzing noise from speakers

It sounds as if it's a design fault - either not enough filtering or placement of wires so that the speakers are picking up noise from the GSM radio (they make electronic noise that can be picked up by speakers that aren't connected to anything from 6" away from the phone). It's not lottery, it sounds like Russian Roulette with bullets in all the chambers.

Without hearing the noise, it's just a guess, but buzzing and static are distinctly different, and if it sounds like modem noise but without the tones (think picture without colors), it's probably GSM spikes you're hearing. The radio should be shielded to prevent that and, if it's not enough shielding, the speaker wires should be shielded too - and heavily bypassed at both ends. (That's why I said design fault - it sounds as if it wasn't tested to the point that the test engineer heard the noise - which would have resulted in a redesign.)

Do you think I should just return the tab pro 8.4 and get a tab s 8.4 instead, as I don't think there are any major issues with that tablet?
