Android Central Question

I am a One Plus 8 user, finger print scanner is getting disabled and saying password is required for additional security and it is being repetative say once in 4 dyas, I have realised complaint with one plus as well, after 2 months of investigation replacement and research they informed me that it's a security feature from Google for android 10 users and it will occur for every 72 hours, I have also verified with other android 10 users but they are not seeing this feature or issue.

My question here is, finger print scanner is disabling frequently for every 3 to 5 days it is being disabled, please let me know if this is a feature and the frequency is normal

I remember once I was in call for one hour and when I checked my phone after the call it was locked and the finger print scanner was disabled. Is it usual cz once I even faced the same issue within 2 days gap.

As one plus tech team suggested, it's a feature of android 10, which disables finger print in every 72 hours

It's not due to this reason cz I remember once I was in call for one hour and when I checked my phone after the call it was locked and the finger print scanner was disabled. Is it usual cz once I even faced the same issue within 2 days gap.

Yesterday I took my phone from my locker after 2 to 3 hours of inactiveness there was no issues, I accessed my phone with finger print checked whatsapp and other social media apps and kept it in my pocket and the finger print scanner got down disabled within 30 minutes after that before I reach home.

As one plus tech team suggested, it's a feature of android 10, which disables finger print in every 72 hours. I can't see 72 hours exactly but the issue is intermittent is this true what tech team is saying. Is my issue is truly a security feature.

I don't think it's because weak authentication, it's Google security feature, to aid in not forgetting your pin and passcode and security.
