I have jump on demand with T-mobile and I'm nearing the end of the lease. I love my V20 as the phone, camera, swappable battery, and just about everything is great. Only thing is, I live in an area where water is constantly an issue a good portion of the year so I'm going to be swapping out of the V20. And into something water resistant.
I was thinking Samsung, because I have a samsung gear S3. But is having a samsung phone with the gear actually anymore beneficial than having a V30 with the gear?
Currently the gear does pretty well with my V20 and I don't feel I'm missing out on any functionality between the two.
Put that aside, and than I wonder what I would really be gaining having the note 8 over the V30, other than a useless stylist.
S8+ is out of the question as it lacks the wide camera view & the round edges seem to take up screen real estate, making viewing along the edges almost useless. G6 is out of the question due to its small size and down grade from the V20.
Is the note really going to continue to use the curved edges that takes up screen real estate making the side almost useless like the S8+?
Does anyone know how extreme the V30 curved glass will be? Based on pictures, it looks like V30 rounded edges will not interfere with V30 screen at all.
Any other info or thoughts would be great.
Mainly between V30 and Note 8.
