One Click Root

I'm trying to down load from short fuse.org and the page won't load. Any suggestions? Samsung Fascinate

What device are you wanting to root? Shortfuse.org is for SuperOneClick, which won't root the Inspire. For the Inspire, you would need Bubby's Simple One Click from XDA Developers forums, or alternately, you could also use attn1's Ace Hack Kit v11 on the same site.

What happen to one click, the one you all talk of seems really alot of work? I'm confused, and I have been working with computer for like 20 years.

Sorry, but this rooting looks harder then jailbreaking a iphone? Need some help, PLEASE..

Looks like everyone have a different way of rooting? I don't even know about a ROM yet..........:(

There is no true One Click method for rooting an inspire. I personally used attn1's AceHackKit and it was pretty painless, just make sure to read and follow the directions exactly. As with any rooting method there is the potential to permanently brick the phone so use at your own risk.

i need a best way without creating a goldcard to root my inspire any advice???

The only way to root is to get s-off. The only way to get s-off is to downgrade. The only way to downgrade is with a goldcard.

if i root my phone then do the gingerbread update will i still be rooted, im assuming no, only reason i want to root is to remove the bloatware!

You would need to root, then flash a rooted stock Gingerbread rom. That is how I am currently rolling. You can use Titanium Backup to uninstall the bloat.
