One M8 having issues

Hey everyone. So starting yesterday, my HTC One M8 started acting up again. It first happened when I got the 4.4.3 update from At&t and seems to be having similar issues now. I'm getting delayed to no notifications, its running hotter than normal and the battery is draining faster than normal. I cleared the cache partition last night but still didn't fix anything. This phone was amazing when I first got it but ever since the update its been giving me a really bad experience. I don't want to resort to doing another factory reset. If that's the case I'm most likely going to convert it to a GPe. Any suggestions on how I can get it working fine again? Thanks!

Yeah I did that last night and it's still having the same issues.

Aside from a reset, I am not sure what else to suggest
