When I take videos using my Incredible itself, how can I assure that the videos are saved on the SD card vs. the internal phone storage ( 6.6GB).

I was able to get my pictures taken on the Incredible to save to the SD card automatically...but wondering how to do that with videos taken on the Inc.

thanks for all the help.

Go into the camera, hit menu, settings, storage, change from phone storage to storage card.

Good informational post this is my second endeavor into the'Droid world and haven't even thought about that option being over I needed to adjust!

Great point, but I believe "storage card" on the Inc settings actually refers to the preinstalled "internal memory" of 8GB, which actually reads 6.6 GB on the phone.

I took some video, for example, and the file extension is /100media and is not visible anywhere on my installed SD Card..... When exploring the Card on my PC.

There is another post similar where CDNolan22 gives the steps on how to remedy this and make sure that the pictures are actually saved on the SD Card and not the 8GB preinstalled card that came with the phone.

I could be wrong, but my experience has been that selecting 'storage card' actually saves the photos on the 8GB of internal memory, not the SD card.

But there are steps in another post that you can take to put everything on the SD card.
