One plus 6t will work on verizon

Even more encouraging for those in Verizon early adoption 5G cities is this:

More importantly for OnePlus, this gives the company experience with Verizon's labs and certification processes, meaning that OnePlus may be preparing to sell a future phone with Verizon.

That future Verizon phone may be the 5G device coming in 2019, which OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei mentioned on stage this weekend at Qualcomm's 4G/5G summit in Hong Kong, and which co-founder Pete Lau presaged on stage with me in June at Mobile World Congress Shanghai.

Are you getting the 1+6t?

Leaning that way vs the P3XL. Want to see reviews of screen fingerprint security/reliability and Verizon usage first. Also, with ~6 month update cycles and 5G potentially coming to the 1+7 I might wait for that. I live in the Los Angeles area and VZW 5G will be rolling out here next year. Decisions, decisions...

I'm skipping and going to the 7 , I'm not crazy about in display fingerprint sensor . I heard AT&T rolling out 5g next few weeks

Yea, I really like the rock solid FP sensors on the back, but I can adapt if the front is just as reliable. But onscreen FP sensors have been pretty dodgy to date, so... And yes, with 5G becoming real within months it's a horrible time to buy a non-5G phone. May just have to limp through another six months with my N6P.

In display fingerprint sensors may be a thing of the future. How does anyone know if it will be dropped for the 7!

Oh wow , how's the battery on it ? When I had it the phone would shut down at 30 percent

Original battery, AccuBattery says still has 87% capacity, which isn't bad after almost three years, but it runs down pretty quickly in heavy usage situations. Because of that I tend not to let it get below 35%. If not for fast charge it would be untenable. Knock wood, never had any of the other problems some 6P owners had except for occasional unlocking screen flash. Overall it's been a great phone.

Haven't posted in a long time. I am super excited to pick up a OnePlus device now that it has Verizon compatibility!!

I just set up my oneplus 6T today, verizon and tmo. Verizon being the data source.
There are 3 kinds of Verizon SIM, make sure the one you have will say LTE or SMS will not work.

I did not have to call Verizon, i was reasy but I tried the SIM change and it worked. Luckily I have an extra lying around.
