One Plus 8 case

Purchased a One Plus 8 from Verizon, ordered a case for it from One Plus store and found out yesterday that the case will not fit the Verizon phone. Seems the Verizon phone is specific to Verizon and they relocated the volume buttons because of extra antennas they need for 5G. So you must buy a case from them. Once again Verizon has screwed the consumer. Their case is not that great and is costly. So no case for my expensive phone.

Have you already tried the case on the phone? Eyeballing it, it looks like the buttons might be in the same place. The confusion might just be that Verizon has a model specific for that carrier for purposes of modems but is otherwise the same.
