My new Incredible came today via Fedex. I was playing around with it and accidently downloaded something on the pdf. I was just wanting to know how to delete it. Thanks for the help, this is an awesome site!!

Quick way... Open internet browser, hit menu, then "MORE", then Downloads. Touch and hold on the file you want to get rid of and select "delete" when it pops up.

You might also want to download a File Manager from the Market. There are several good free ones. Then you will have a little more freedom in navigating, copying, moving and deleting files.

Yeah I would like to follow up PvilleComp's answer and suggest for the non-rooted user "Astro File Manager" the free one. It's awesome for browsing files on your phone and deleting none needed items on the SD card and internal memory.
