One reason I'm nervous about Nexus 5

I currently have the HTC One Dev Edition with Sense 5 as well as the 2013 Nexus 7 tablet. I love both devices but the HTC One is significantly smoother than the Nexus device in terms of touch responsiveness and scrolling. It also seems like I have to touch a pixel or 2 higher up on the Nexus device to hit a specific spot on the screen (I know this sounds kind of weird just something I've gotten used to). The interested thing is I had the same experience with the Galaxy Nexus when I had that device. I'm hoping the Nexus 5 is more like the HTC One in terms of smoothness and screen responsiveness rather than the Nexus 7 (& Galaxy Nexus). Can anyone who has the Nexus 5 comment on this? Mine is set to arrive tomorrow night so I will update if nobody else does. Thanks.

Please post your thoughts when you receive it, I'm interested in knowing how it compares to the devices you already have.

Alex gave some good insights on the Nexus 5 via the AC Podcast this past Friday and didn't indicate any issues with responsiveness or lag (that I recall). Can't wait to receive mine this coming week.

I'm in the exact same boat as you with the One and nexus 7. And I too feel the One is more responsive. My N5 will be here tomorrow as well and I'm hoping the upgraded processor and software will make a difference. But it could also be the type of screen/digitizer used in the n7. Who knows. But I'm excited for it none the less!
