One UI 5 is coming to Canada on Nov. 5

NB: In Canada, all carriers tend to get Samsung updates within a day of each other (and often, a day late... I hope this is not one of those occasions.)

I am on Rogers with an unlocked phone purchased at Costco. Have no idea whether the security and other updates are generated by Rogers or Samsung Canada.

I have noticed that I have not received a security update every month as others outside of Canada get. My latest update was Oct 6th and it was a Security patch issued Sep 1st.

Not sure Canadians are getting timely updates.

My updates for my 22 Ultra haven't been very consistent the last 3 months or so either. I have an unlocked phone that i purchased from Samsung Canada.

Not sure who propagates the updates in Canada. In the US it seems to come from the phone company you are signed up with.

It seems to be Samsung themselves.

Telus also posted Nov 5th for Android 13 for the S22 series today.

Rogers customer have not seen it yet. I am considering waiting until the first update following release seems prudent to avoid problems,

Not me (and I doubt anyone else has, either.) Telus, Rogers and Koodo's schedules all removed it by Nov 4th EOD. But as I learned from the March update, there's no rush to get a buggy update.

Just checked and update is available to download.

I am with Rogers.

I am going to wait couple months reading about to many problems and haven't seen anything the update would do for me that is worth risking doing a total reset if something doesn't work correctly.
