One UI launcher issue

Since receiving Android 10 last week via Verizon, I've been having a sporadic issue with the native launcher. The feature to swipe down for the notification panel anywhere on the home page works about 80% of the time. The only thing I've found to make it work again is to turn the phone off, and then back on, a few times. I use it all the time for responding to emails and listening to music and podcasts. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, know of any workable solutions?

Try clearing cache in recovery , we go from there .
