So question I picked one plus 5 and Htc u11. Has anyone else used both I am trying to decide between the two. Price is not the issue. If anyone has used both how has software support been. So far the OnePlus is a touch faster but camera is definitely better on the the u11.

I am actually in a similar boat myself, but I have not used both. They have the same Snapdragon installed I believe, so the speed and functionality should be quite identical if not very similar. But as per usual with flagships, if you want to pay a little more for a better camera, better specs (arguably, as sometimes, these things are a little subjective), then go for the U11. However, the OP is supposed to have great battery life, dash charging, and is snappy and smooth experience-wise.

I personally wanted the U11 when it came out but I can't justify spending that much money on a phone; especially when I see phones like the OnePlus 5 that are arguably just as good and get the job done just as well. It's a tough choice, as they're two great phones. Try watching some unboxing and review videos on YouTube to see which one may better suit your needs.

Let us know what you decide!

Here is two screen shots this has been consistent battery life with the OnePlus 5 from the past week. Now to finish with u11 battery life will post tomorrow my results

it's close I averaged about 5 hours of screen time software is close. Camera does wins hands down. I post a couple of pictures for comparison.

color reproduction is a little richer on HTC u11. squeeze feature can be useful. but overall you can't truly loose. if audio and camera are the most important things go with U11 but if looking for the best software experience and consistent battery at least for me has been the OnePlus 5. We are gonna keep the u11 because my wife fell in love with the phone and blue is her favorite color.

Both are great choices, for sure! And I can understand why your wife wanted to keep the blue U11 - that's a gorgeous shade!

Personally I think the red is awesome too but that's due to my favorite football teams using red as their primary color. Out of curiosity you mentioned you are struggling choosing between devices? What phones are you using now

I agree with you, the red is very beautiful! I like how it's Iron Man-esque. :P I'm currently using an unlocked Honor 8! It's not that I'm unhappy with my phone - I love it so much! - I just like knowing what I'll be upgrading to and I usually get a new phone every 12-18 months; depending on how my current device is functioning at the time. I wanted to do HTC but I'm afraid the price point may be too high; especially since I'd be buying it unlocked in Canada. But we'll see!
