oneplus 6t didn't pair with amazon echo when setting up new speaker

had to use pixel xl 3 to do it. Once i connect the phone directly the echo wifi, the setup won't proceed. on the pixel, android os will ask if i want to stay conneted even when there is no internet, oneplus does not pop up this message.

Once setup on the other phone, oneplus 6t works fine with alexa app and speakers; but gotta use different phone for initial setup.

No issue here, I've set up a new Dot and Echo with my 6T without a problem.

I have the same issue , it's like no notification is coming through to connect to network only the one that says do you want to stay connected . I had to use an iPad to set up the echo

ive had that issue with lots of phones/devices over the last few years...some do the pairing better than others, so, if you have another device, and you cant pair with the one you are using, just grab the other device, and do the pairing with that, usually solves the problem
