OP 7 and 7 Pro models are getting a new official update, including the usual optimizations, bug fixes and October security patch. It's the usual staged rollout so maybe it will hit your device only on the next couple of days.

I downloaded the file on Monday using Oxygen Updater and all seems good, so far. Battery seems a bit better, probably due to the improvements with the standby usage and WhatsApp no longer going crazy in the background.

Auto brightness has definitely improved and even not being perfect I haven't needed to touch the slider since the update, which is great.

FPS unlock seems faster and pick up to wake is more reliable than it was.

A couple of apps had some issues with notifications that were easily fixed after force stop and clearing their cache.

OnePlus always liked the "staged rollouts" and I can understand that. I think that after the 6/6T fiasco they are being even more careful with how many devices get the OTA notification on every stage.

Patience or Oxygen Updater/download links.

Only reason I try to hold off on using Oxygen Updater is because the changelog then doesn't show up in settings, or it didn't used to anyway. It's a tiny inconsequential thing, but bugs me still.

I used a VPN to grab the Android 10 update instead of waiting.

That's true, when you do a local update (Oxygen Updater or link) you can't see the changelog in the stock settings. You can always open Oxygen Updater again to see it, though.

Very true about changelog but the updater tells you that u see the circle with check mark under that is " view update Information" tap on it
Which VPN app did you use?

It was either ExpressVPN, Nord, or InvinciBull. I uninstalled soon as the job was done.

I just purchased a 7 Pro from OnePlus. I should have it Wednesday. I wonder if the new phone will come with Android 10 already installed? 🤔

Probably not , but after setting it up check for update I wouldn't be surprised if it's waiting there.

10.0.3 version available in Oxygen Updater for the 7 AA model. November security patch and generic bug fixes and stability.

I just received 10.3.0.GM21AA
