I have an iPhone 6 but before that I had the LG G3, HTC One M8, Note 3, Nexus 5, OnePlus One (defective), Galaxy S5, Xperia Z1S, Moto X, LG G2, Find 7a, and the iPhone 5.
I know it's kind of dumb to ask this question especially in a OnePlus One forum but I am having issues making up my mind.
"OPO or iP6"
I have an iPhone 6 as mentioned before and a OnePlus One is on the way. Do I refuse the OnePlus One and keep the iPhone 6 or return the iPhone 6 and keep the OPO.
I'm currently using JUMP to finance the iPhone 6. If I keep the OPO then I can JUMP to a Note 4, Moto X, or even an iPhone 6 should I feel the need. However that's a waste of money.
I like iOS and Android but at the same time I hate them both. I like iOS's standardization but hate their locked down approach. I like the app selection on iOS but hate it's simplicity. I also like how iOS works better with my current things. Like my car stereo and home entertainment system. I like Android for its customization and openness. Meaning I don't have to use Google stuff if I don't want to unlike iOS. I have to use Apple stuff. Even iOS new third party keyboard addition. I'm still constantly reminded I have Apple keyboard installed. For some reason iOS "forgets" I wanted to use SwiftKey. I also wish iOS had a 7 minute app test period too.
I wish Android updated faster on all phone. That's one of my biggest complaints. Not only that I wish app development was easier for developers... Oh what's that Android L does. Great, but unfortunately it'll be a slow change. Which is why I want to stick with Android. Android L will do a lot for Android.
What to do what to do dammit.
I wish I can get a visit from both my future selves and have them both tell me about their experience. One that stuck with Android and the other that kept iOS.
It doesn't help that most of my friends aren't techy and have iDevice. So iMessage is kind of nice. Video, voice, and mms along with group chat is pretty damn nice.
All my techie friends clearly say ditch the POS iPhone. We group chat on hangouts but its still limited.
Then there's the fact I get a decent Android experience on iOS with all the Google Apps on iOS. I know it's no where near as good as Android but it's kind of nice lol.
Anyway I know the ultimate decision is me and I'm the only one that knows what to do but I'd love to hear from you guys on this.
Thanks
