oneplus one, update aborted

Hi i was just wundering if someone had some advice. My brother recently got a oneplus one and in the last couple of days he has had a notification about a update i think its only a small one but every time he gose to install it all it keeps saying is "installation aborted". The phone is stock and not rooted. Any ideas?

Try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data.

1. Shut down the phone, and turn it back on while holding the Volume Down button until you feel it vibrate.
2. Once in Simple Recovery, select "wipe cache partition" and swipe to the right or press the power button to select it. Continue once you get the "Cache wipe complete" message.
3. Select Reboot System Now.

It's still not doing the update. I have tryed to flash a new fresh software via fast boot but when I extract the firmware file into the correct place ready for the flash the flashall.bat batch file is missing.. any ideas I need help as the opo is my phone now and I'm stuck on 4.4.4 I've disabled the updates app just so it dosent keep prompting me but would like lollipop now
