Oneplus X cant run 1080p videos smoothly

I have Oneplus X and it is not able to run 1080p videos smoothly,any solution? It contains SD801 2.3GHz and 3GB ram still it works real slow

Yeah it's strange that video and animation is choppy at times. My old moto x from 2013 seems to run better. Not sure why the oneplus x hangs at times, specs are so good. I actually could not stand it so returned mine

Maybe the video is in mkv format. Try downloading it in mp4 format and play it again. See if it works

It doesn't on mp4. I've even watched a movie in 1080p xD
